In 2015-16, NABARD offices of Bihar and Jharkhand supported us for conducting 8 training programs in Bihar and 2 training programs in Jharkhand for the promotion and development of “village micro enterprises” with a view to promote integrated rural development and securing prosperity in the villages of Bihar and Jharkhand.
Under the program, 300 SHG women were imparted training in 10 batches in trades like goat rearing, poultry farming, vermin composting and pig farming and also provided them goats, pigs and hens that helped in promoting a sustainable livelihood support for them.
